Land Acknowledgement:
Marine CSI recognizes, respects, and honors the land on which we teach, once thriving with the Indigenous people of the Waccamaw-Siouan, Cape Fear, and Burghaw Indian tribes. We also recognize, respect, and honor those communities who make their home here today. We will continue to teach about these lands, its resources, and its wildlife to become better stewards for the future of the cape Fear region and its people.

Our Mission
Marine CSI's mission is to bring an awareness of the uniqueness of coastal ecosystems, by providing resources and programming for marine science, marine ecology, and marine conservation.
Classes & Workshops
Watershed Walkabout | Available all school year!
The school year will be here soon and we've got great activities lined up for students in PreK-12th grade. Check out all the programs we have available for the upcoming 2025-26 year for public schools, private schools, and homeschool co-ops in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow, Bladen, and Duplin Counties: Watershed Walkabout Program.

Are you a formal or informal educator interested in taking your science curriculum or programs to the next level? Join our Director of Education and our partners at NC Sea Grant through hands-on experiences and walk away with more than just a few lessons.
